The Ramblers and Trail Trekkers pursue the moderate hiking trips. Ramblers hikes (more moderate) are on Tuesdays and Trail Trekkers hikes (more challenging) are on Thursdays. The Tuesday hikes continue into winter, at lower elevations, using ice- or snow-grippers; the Thursday hikes switch to snowshoes when the snow flies.

Please read this document before attending a hiking event. Note that the document was written for the Sole Survivors but, except for the notes on cycling, it applies to all hiking trips.

Meet at the Apple Bowl (on Burtch just south of Bernard) at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m departure. Those wishing to meet at the trailhead or a secondary meet spot should let the hike leader know in advance.

Car pooling is encouraged. The rate paid to the driver is shown on the Activities page.
