Thursday Birding

Every Thursday (except in December) re-starting October 7, 2021.
 
Typically a driving “stop-and-go” outing to explore local birding “hotspots” around Kelowna.
 
Details on route are provided by email the preceding Tuesday.
 
Meet at the Apple Bowl 1555 Burtch Road, corner of Burtch and Bernard. This is different from the traditional meeting place.
 
April to September, meet at 8:00 am. We are back by noon.
 
October through March meet at 9:00 am. We are back by noon.
Car pooling is encouraged. The rate paid to the driver is shown on the Activities page.

Saturday Birding

Year round on the second Saturday of each month (except December).
A day-long excursion that allows our member birders to explore areas between Osoyoos and Salmon Arm.
Details on route are provided by email the preceding Thursday.
 
Tentatively to re-start Saturday November 13.
Meet at the Apple Bowl 1555 Burtch Road, corner of Burtch and Bernard at 7:30 am (April through September) or 8:30 am (October through March).
Bring a lunch. We usually return mid- to late-afternoon.

Monday Birding

Every Monday from September through November and January through June re-starting October 4, 2021.
Monday focuses on birding while walking local trails.
Details on route and meeting location are provided by email the preceding Friday.
 
April to September, meet at 8:00 am. We are back by noon.
 
October through March meet at 9:00 am. We are back by noon.

Carpooling is not necessary as we meet the walking location.
