Thursday Birding

Every Thursday except around Christmas
Meet at the parking lot behind St. Charles Garnier Church, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna.

April through September, meet at 8 am – Bring a lunch. We usually return by 1:00 p.m.

October through March meet at 9 am – Lunch is not usually needed

Saturday Birding

Year-round on the second Saturday of each month
Meet at 1555 Burtch Road, the Apple Bowl parking lot, corner of Burtch and Bernard, at 7:30 am (April through September) or 8:30 am (October through March). Bring a lunch. We usually return mid- to late-afternoon. Dates and times are subject to change.

Monday Birding

During the spring and fall migration seasons
Monday birding focuses on birding while walking local trails. Bring a snack and water. Outings are from April to mid-June during spring migration and September through October during fall migration.

Meet at 1555 Burtch Road, the Apple Bowl parking lot, corner of Burtch and Bernard, at 8 am. Bring a snack and water. We usually return by noon.

Carpooling

Carpooling is encouraged, because sometimes we must negotiate bad roads or arrive at places with limited parking and for general conservation reasons. The carpooling rate is ten cents per km.
